Here is a photo of my desk after the treatment.  I was too intent on getting this project finished, so I forgot to take a before photo.  Trust me, it wasn't pretty.  Every wire on the peg board was on the floor behind the desk.

 

In some installations, there are more "gadgets" located on the pegboard, but I only have one or two that have real estate on my actual desktop, so they weren't included.  They suit me better on the desk rather than on the pegboard anyway.

Cable management goes for inside the computer, too!  This was my box right after the install of the GeForce 8800 GTS 320.  It's been good since then.  It's not the most beautiful, but hey, there's three(3) hardrives, a DVD-ROM, and the GTS.  It's cramped in the middle, there.
